I know of one other owner that dropped the Beta 20 in as a replacement for the A4. Is that the right engine, or is it a bit overpowered? Also, do your engines come w/ panels, controls, etc?

What are the recommended spare parts to keep aboard for long summer cruise? We are sailing from Portland, OR to Hawaii and back this summer.

Hi Quick question...I have the beta 20..sitting beautifully in wooden shims in the engine space - very near perfect aligned to shaft coupler... then I put the "engine feet" on and lowered again into the space...the rear of the engine with the feet in their lowest setting is still at least 3...

I have a 1980 Hunter H-27 with a Renault RC8D that is showing its age. What engine and prop combination should I use? This boat is used on Lake Mead, Nevada. -Thanks, -ESP

Hello, Later this week the boat will be hauled and old engine out....prep the area ...for new engine... I have an engine lift mounted in my boat now off the keel bolts so should be "easier" to attach and lower work the new engine into the bed... Correct me if you have other ideas...Going to low...
