The Beta 16 / BZ602 is an ideal engine for the C&C 30, this 16 HP engine is economical and very smooth running. Until the Beta 16 was available, we repowered a number of C&C 30's with the Beta 20 / BD722, although slightly overpowered the engine worked very well. Using the Beta 16 / BZ602 will initially save a few hundred dollars on the purchase, will burn less fuel and save money over the longer term and give you more room in the engine compartment for maintenance.
