engine stalled at low RPMs wont turn over

recently I was pulling up to my mooring at low RPMs  and the engine had a lot of vibration,then it stalled when I tried to start it I got nothing but  warning lights etc the usal when the engine doesnt start,it clicked and then buzzers but never turned over at all ,
any one have exsperiance with this.
-battery full
-shifted back and forth with key in start position to over ride neutral start switch.
-oil full and new
-diesil full and no water in filter.
-no visaible loose wires 
tried for a while with no results
