I know of one other owner that dropped the Beta 20 in as a replacement for the A4. Is that the right engine, or is it a bit overpowered? Also, do your engines come w/ panels, controls, etc?
The Beta 14 is all the engine that your boat needs. Any more power will be a waste of money as the boat wont go any faster.
Your new engine will come complete with the transmission, ABV panel, flexible mounts and flex coupling, shaft coupling and the standard exhaust elbow.
In addition you will need a new propeller, decent fuel filter/water seperator, control cables ans possibly different exhaust system and a 3/4" intake thru-hull.
