Oil Pressure

My Beta 50 has now done 210 hrs, and I am very happy with the engine. I have however noticed a drop in oil pressure when running. On initial start up, the oil pressure is just below 50 psi, but drops to around 35 psi after the engine is at working temperature, 170 degrees C. This was not the situation when  the engine was new.

I am using Shell Rimula RX3 oil, and there is no loss of oil, or indication of contamination. Is the drop in oil pressure normal, or should I contact the local Beta agent?

This appears quite normal. As the new wears off the engine, it will bed in a bit although there are no official bed in instructions from Kubota.
The official Kubota spec for the V2203 for oil pressure is;
14 PSI or more at idle with an allowable limit of 7 PSI
42.7 to 64 PSI at rated speed with an allowable limit of 36 PSI.

If your readings are outside these numbers I would first suspect a faulty gauge or sender. You can always check the oil pressure with a good quality mechanical test gauge.
