started engine for first time today. trans. wont go in forward. atf fluid where it should be. disconneted control cables and moved lever by hand. goes into reverse but not in forward. nothing blocking movement of lever. do they check these before they send them out the door? help
First off, all these transmissions are checked at both Technodrive before they ship out, and also at the Beta Marine factory.
It will certainly help if you can let me know your Woc# and also where you are.
In the meantime, I suggest that you rotate the shaft coupling by hand in both directions as may free it up.
