Those would be a tough fit on most sailboats in the size range for a Beta 25. What kind of boat do you have?
One nice thing about those type of controls is that they might be easily "reversible" in actuation since the stock throttle on your engine requires a pull. We had to invent a bell-crank solution to change our cable from push to pull. Beta sells a kit for this, but on the model 25 it gets in the way of some other parts, so we machined a new attachment part. (I am very fortunate that my engine installer is also a machinist.)

Shouldn't have any issues on my boat which is nearing completion...in the photo the controller will mount somewhere in the vicinity above the shaft coupling once the motor box is finished....so very short cable runs.....
