I have a 3 year old Beta 1505. Great engine. Started up 1st time this spring. I did however notice that the alarm that usually sounds when glow plug is activated and engine is stopped did not sound. Any explanations? Everything else works fine. Thanks Brad

I have always experienced problems with excessive belt wear on my B14 (325 hrs). Tried different belts and always adjusted per requirement with no improvement. Belt dust is always heavy around the alternator and has to be cleaned after several hours of running time. Any suggestions?

Hi I have a 1996 Carver 37 AFT 21000 lbs LWL 32' 6" now i have twin 454 XLI 300 hp Borg Warner Transmission 10 18 000 010 2.57 to 1 and 22" X 23 pitch prop I would like to cruise at about 7 to 8 Kts with twin small engine i think around 43 hp or 50 hp eacth will be enough power to cruise at around 1500to 18...

I have removed the core from the heat exchanger on my BZ482 and noticed a buildup of white corrosion on the solder joints. It also seems that the solder has deteriorated somewhat. I have done a bit of research on this and this condition is called "solder bloom" . Has anyone else noticed this?...
