Hello everyone, does anyone know where Beta gets the oil change pumps they install on there engines? A manufacturer name etc. would be a great help. Thank you, Derek.
Hi Stanley, thank you for the reply. I know I can buy one from Beta but the US dealer here wants an arm and a leg--$130. Maybe he thinks they are made of GOLD. I know Fynspray makes one that looks the same except for the handle. It is $60 to $70. The are know for their excellent quality too. I just liked the Beta tee top handle is all. The rest of the pump is the same, solid brass. Thanks again, Derek.
The price from Beta Marine includes the brackets that secure the pump to the engine, the bolts, the valve and hose barb , the hose from the sump and the connection at the sump and this is then installed on the engine.
If you only want to buy the pump with no extra parts, you will find Beta's price very competitive.
Hi Stanley, I did not know, nor did they tell me all of those items came with the pump. All I need is the pump, my engine came with the valve in the oil pan with hose on it. Thank you for the clarification. Best regards, Derek.
Hi Stanley, It is a new John Deere 4045 turbo diesel. I received anopther reply from a US Beta Dealer. He wants $119 for the pump and mounting brackets only. That price includes shipping charges also. Still very over priced I think> Thanks again, Derek.
