I picked up an old Chris Craft Cherokee 32 foot Sailboat for a song and am looking to re-power. She had a yanmar YSE12 in her which was locked up, so it is gone now. I suspect the yanmar was under powered. She has a 3 blade prop, but I do not know it's diminsions.
I want an engine that can get me through some of the worst conditions. Can you reccomend and engine and prop size? How can I get a direct quote?

Your boat really calls for the Beta 16 or Beta 20. Either will give you hull speed plus. The 20 will just give you extra reserve. You will use a 12" diameter three blade propeller for best results.
I agree with your dislike of the outboard bracket on your boat. It not only looks lousy, it really destroys the sweet lines.
