Oil, fuel and air filters

I have just repowered my yacht, a steel Ebbtide 36, with a Beta 50.  I am also fitting a 4 bladed feathering propeller, and hope to be sailing again before Christmass.

Unfortunately us cruising sailors can often not buy Beta or Kubota oil fuel and air filters, in the out of the way areas we cruise in. Can you give a list of acceptable equivalents for these filters from reputable major after market filter suppliers?

You will get cross over numbers on this page of our website  http://www.betamarinenc.com/parts.htm#bv2003  These numbers work well in the US and in places with US influence. I am not sure about other parts of the world.

Hi Stanley,
Thank you for the prompt reply. Using the info you sent, I was able to get FRAM equivalent numbers for the oil and fuel filters, which I do not want to remove from the engine. The air filter is no problem to remove for a few hours, so I will take it with me to find a spare. now I just have to hope that I can find them!
