i wonder if the flexible mounting for the beta on a working boat could be done RIGID as pumps would be connected to the engine ... The angle the engine prop to enginge could work would be around 4 degree and so as low as possible... I wonder if the beta 90 or 105 would accept these mounting and if the engine would work without vibrations being rid of the flexible mounting... ?? Thanks in advance ...
It will be much better if you mount the pumps either on the engine, or drive them through a straight PTO from the front of the engine with a stub shaft with a flex joint to accept the movement.
