Engine touch up paint for the Beta 38 hp?

Do you sell it our can you tell me where I can get the color that matches the red that is on the motor?

PlastiKote  Engine Enamel  209 Universal Red

Matches spot on.  Apply slowly in very light coats.

Is there another brand of paint that is a match for Beta Marine red? I just got off the phone with PlastiKote because I couldn't find PlastiKote 209 online. It appears that the parent company, Krylon, has discontinued the PlastiKote product line and has no replacement or color conversion chart for the Krylon line of paints. Sigh.

Hello Bruce,

Rust-Oleum,  Gloss Sun Rise Red   #7762830   This paint matches perfectly.

If the engine is brand new and the paint is fresh, only apply in thin light coats to prevent lifting the new paint.

This is not an issue with older engines or new engines that have been run to temp a few times.
