hi i was looking for a 2gm yanmar running or not ith the kanzaki transmisssion mine doesn't have the reverse working and it just came out of shop no help from mechanic .. hoping i could find a spare..
The Kanzaki transmission that fits the 2GM has a different front housing and adaptor to any other transmission and only fits the Yanmar, not any other engines. Although we use some Kanzaki transmissions, these have a standard BW adaptor and wont fit your engine.
You may have more luck finding a used transmission by putting a post on cruisers forum.
