Adding a second engine control panel?

I have a Beta 28 with a C series control panel.  I want to re-locate the control panel below deck to better protect from the weather and add engine health display function by the chart table.  Does Beta Marine make a T connector for their wire harness so a second control panel with primary engine start/stop and temp function (thinking ABV series panel) can be installed in the ****pit?  If no, are there any electrical concerns if I decide to add this parallel control capability myself?  Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris,

It will help if you provide the Woc number of your engine. This is certainly possible but is not as easy as just fitting a T piece plug. You will need to wire in each gauge, warning light etc yourself as we do not have anything ready made up. Some of the senders will also have to be changed.

If your main aim is to keep the panel out of the weather, look at the panel recess' that we offer. Here is the link to the dimensions page www.betamarinenc.com/images/equipment/panel%20recess%20lids.pdf
This is certainly likely to be a cheaper and simpler solution.

I don't understand as only part of the link is underlined. Please click on this engine page link http://www.betamarinenc.com/index.php/engines/?next=16

Then scroll down until you see this link    click here for recess dimensions  and then click on it.
