Hello. I have a 2-year old Beta 38 hp V1505 - E102 engine and I'm cruising long distance in other countries. The engine has been great. My mechanic has recommended that I carry some spare injectors on board and I agree. Can you tell me the Kubota part number? I have the Kubota Illustrated Parts List for Model V1505-E2B-BTM-1 from my Beta dealer but I don't see anything specifically labelled "injector". Thanks.
The parts books are published for people who know about engines. If your mechanic can't recognize an injector in the parts book, you need a new mechanic. Japanese engine manufacturers call injectors "nozzle holders".

Hi Stanley. Perhaps I can explain a little better. I mentioned that I am cruising on my boat. My mechanic is back in La Paz working on other people's boats and I'm now cruising around in other locations in Mexico. Cruisers frequently work on their own boats and we learn all sorts of things, even about engines. Getting help from the Forum is part of that. Even if we are taking our boat to a mechanic, arriving with spare parts makes sense because I've found that mechanics in Mexico more often than not don't have the spare part in stock and you don't want to wait around in an expensive port for your mechanic to order parts.
That being said, knowing the term "nozzle holder" allowed me to find the part number in the Kubota parts book. Thank you for that information. Annie
