Sucking out antifreeze

Hi,
We have been draining the antifreeze from our Beta 38 hp each season by using the engine pet****. This means for us that all the antifreeze flows into our beep bilge. We then need to use our wet vac to vacuum it all out of the bilge and into containers for disposal. After finding out about psi issues with an external electric fuel pump and the engine fuel pump I have decided to ask this first.
If we used a hand pump like the one shown in the picture [we use this on our transmission] connected to the pet**** and sucked out all the antifreeze into containers would that be ok? Would it damage anything? We do have a accumulator tank as our antifreeze also circulates through our hot water heater.
Thanks,
Chip

I see no problem at all connecting a tube (with pump) to the coolant drain tap.
Definitely use a different pump to the one that you use the transmission fluid.
