Engine “On” Signal for Balmar DDC Activation?

Im installing a Balmar DDC for better battery charge regimen, but need to use the on-off function on it to shut the thing down and avoid a constant 0.5 A draw when the engine isn't running and thus alternator not charging. My Beta 38 is WOC K35616, with the 120 A alternator and BW panel options. Where is the best place in the 11-pin wiring harness connector to pick up a 12 V "on" signal?

Just behind the alternator coming out of the wiring harness is a small brown wire that is tied back and un-used. This wire is only 'hot' or 'on' when the panel is activated.
