Repower Recommendations

The Beta 35 is the preferred engine for this vessel.  The Beta 35 has a maximum engine speed of 2800 RPM.  This is important because when coupled to a 1:1 ratio, transmission, this combination works just right with the original 2:1 ratio Walter V- Drive.  This package provides the correct power and propeller speed for best efficiency. A higher RPM engine even with more HP is less desirable for this repower.
