My Beta 25 is draining fuel

Drains fuel thru an open-ended clear flexible tube which runs from the right side of the engine (looking from the front) to below the sump that then drains into the bilge. What is this drain? I had a problem with engine quitting and found gallons of fuel in the bilge. Clogged fuel filter?? All the fuel leaked out this tubing.

The drain that you see is most likely the overflow tube for coolant which connects under the coolant pressure cap. This has nothing to with the fuel system.

If you have a major fuel leak, I suggest that you contact a local mechanic to find and fix this for you.

Stanley,

You're correct, fuel was running down the outside of this clear line. It was coming from the hose on the left side of the engine that ends in a brass nipple. It had a plastic cover on it that came off. I cannot find in the owner's manual what this fuel line is for. Can you tell me?

That is the fuel return line that must be connected to the fuel tank. This is described in the owners/ operators manual.

yes,

And I understand it, this hose is 5/16 and a loop, level with the bottom of the fuel tank, must be present.
