Beta 25 running temperature seems low

My new Beta runs great, but the gauge indicates about 160 degrees. That seems cool for a diesel. Does this make sense?

Welcome to the forum. This is not unusual and I suspect that you are possibly in an area where the sea water is relatively cool.
You will find that when you get to the tropics with 95 degree air temps, 80 degree water temps that the engine will run hotter.
